The last week in November I headed out to the Salton Sea for a fitness photo shoot with my friend and personal trainer, Michael Nemcik.

We rolled up straight for LA and were pleased to be welcomed with the unfamiliar sight of no one. |
As soon as we arrived we immediately began work. There were so many potential great places to shoot that I didn't know where to start.

Abandoned house near Bombay Beach. |
Easily one of the creepiest places I've ever been, everything in the area provided such a fascinating backdrop. Mike and I tried to use as much of it as possible during our trip. I was quite pleased with the results. Hopefully these photos will help grab the attention of some new clients.

My personal favorite of the day. |
I took advantage of the location to take some time-lapse and shoot some other things for iStockphoto. I will link to it on the site as soon as it becomes available.
A preview of the time-lapse I shot:
Screenshot of one segment of stock footage. The sand is made of fish bones. Seriously creepy.
